McDonald’s Situation
South Bend and The University of Notre Dame hosted the McDonald’s All-American High School Basketball Game, one of the most prestigious events in amateur sports. Proceeds of the game benefited South Bend and Fort Wayne Ronald McDonald Family Rooms. These facilities provide a home-away-from-home for families with seriously ill children.

Villing provided advertising and public relations services for the games, including airport displays, posters, billboards, print, TV and radio, plus “street art,” including a 30-foot banner that appeared on a local parking garage. According to McDonald’s corporate officials, the All American High School Basketball Games played at Notre Dame were the most successful in the history of the Games - raising close to a half million dollars for the Family Rooms in South Bend and Fort Wayne.
