McDonald’s Situation
The Northern Indiana Co-op of McDonald’s Owner/Operators (totaling 88 restaurants) wanted to create a charity event that would benefit their local communities, while at the same time bringing customers into their restaurants.

Villing Solution
Since many area food bank supplies run low in the months after the holiday season, Villing created the Care & Share Food Drive to help replenish the supply. Working with six food banks to cover all counties where the restaurants are located, we placed food collection barrels inside each restaurant. In addition to coordinating logistics, Villing conducted a media relations campaign to drive awareness of the food drive, and we garnered coverage on TV, radio, and in newspapers. And the best part - the restaurants collected more than 8,000 pounds of food.
